Connect With Us

Leeza's Care Connection celebrates the remarkable life of our founder's father, Dr. Carlos W. Gibbons, a dedicated educator, civil rights advocate, and community leader who passed away peacefully at the age of 95

Known affectionately as "Pops," Dr. Gibbons dedicated his life to education, first as a teacher and coach, then as a principal, and later as a professor. He was deeply committed to the advancement of civil rights advising luminaries like President Lyndon Johnson.

Dr. Gibbons' sharp mind and kind spirit inspired all who knew him. His visionary approach helped birth Leeza's Care Connection-a tribute to his own family's journey through Alzheimer's disease. Until his passing, Pops remained an active supporter of Leeza's Care Connection, often leading groups and celebrating the memory of his beloved wife, Jean Gibbons.

We Invite you to honor his legacy and support families facing Alzheimers and dementia. In lieu of flowers, we hope you will consider making a donation Here.

together, let's ensure that those who are forgetting will not be forgotten.
