Full Biography

I used to be a part of Love On A Leash. A nonprofit where I would visit local convalescent homes with my basset hound. I did this for years with my son. I also started a newsletter at LA County Homeless Shelter, which I called "Let Your Word Be Heard" providing all the residents an opportunity to voice their concerns and encouraging a creative outlet platform with art/poetry. I then began to do one-on-one live-in companionship for a widowed senior who was clinically depressed and overwhelmed with needing to downsize, and I helped assist with keeping him excited about life, working through small goals/baby steps, and enjoying the little things along the way. It was 5 years that I was able to walk him through with a positive, nurturing perspective.
